From
http://www.unicode.org/~emuller/iwg/p17
"TDIL proposes the move of U+0A74 GURMUKHI EK ONKAR
to U+0A50 and the move of U+262C ADI SHAKTI to U+0A74."
Now that people in this list make it clear that
character names, once assigned, cannot be changed.
Regarding the TDIL proposal, I have a query:
Can the Gurmukhi Omkaram be moved from its
current location?
Thanks,
N. Ganesan
PS:
Btw, Tamil and Grantham scripts have distinct
beautiful Omkaram letters that should be assigned
code points just as in Gujarati, Devanagari, Gurmukhi
for transliteration etc.,
