    The Unicode Technical Committee has posted a new issue for public review
    and comment. Details are on the following web page:

    Review period for the new item closes on October 10, 2007.

    The proposed update of UAX #24 adds a new section regarding use of the
    script property in rendering systems, clarifies issues of script
    inheritance in combining character sequences, and documents the script
    anomalies for some East Asian squared abbreviation compatibility symbols.
    Public feedback is invited.
