Ossetian letter missing in Unicode?

    It has been brought to my attention that an Ossetian letter is
    probably missing in the Georgian letter block. Have a look at the
    following document:

    The attached image shows a snippet of the document; the left circle
    marks a word containing the missing `ae' letter twice (the first and
    the last character in the word), while the right circle marks the
    normal Georgian `a' letter for comparison.
