Re: Vexillological symbols

In 2007 or 2008 I worked on a proposal to add three classes of
vexillological symbols to the Unicode repertoire. (Some of them were
meanwhile added, due to unrelated proposals.) The Unicode submission
process being what it is, the whole thing sort of fizzed.

Earlier today I received a message from Anshuman Pandey, who submitted
a proposal on the same subject I was working on, although using a
different approach — which I consider less productive than mine. (I
wish nevertheless thank Anshuman for his contact and for sending me a
copy of his proposal.)

Due to a catastrophic HDD failure in early 2011 I lost all my files
concerning my proposal (i.a.), having only a very crude PDF draft made
in 2005. Does any of you perchance kept my proposal as circulated in
around 2007, please?
