One clarification and one afterthought:
- By "mental representation" (M) I really mean "semantic representation".
- That S is central in the (M, S) → W mapping can probably be quantified
information-theoretically: the contribution of the S-part is larger than
that of the M-part. Even for (non-Classical) Chinese.
