This is feedback for PRI 308: Property Change for U+202F NARROW NO-BREAK SPACE
(NNBSP).

I only wish to remark that there is another use of the NNBSP: it remains the
only method of separating fractions formed by U+2044 FRACTION SLASH from
previous numbers (other than using the U+00A0 NBSP) that prevents line
breaking from occurring between the fraction and the previous number. On page
275 of the Unicode Standard 8.0, it is stated, “If the fraction is to be
separated from a previous number, then a space can be used, choosing the
appropriate width (normal, thin, zero width, and so on). For example, 1 + THIN
SPACE + 3 + FRACTION SLASH + 4 is displayed as 1 3⁄4.” However, the THIN SPACE
does not prevent line breaking from occurring, which is required in style
guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style, in the same manner that use of the
NBSP is mandated between numbers and units, etc.

Feedback above this line was reviewed in the November 2015 UTC meeting.
