Note: The file Unihan-1.txt was inadvertently published for Unicode 2.0.0 in a truncated state. Instead of re-releasing it, the Consortium at the time posted Unihan-2.txt (dated 23 September 1996) in the /Public/UNIDATA/ directory. That version corrects the truncation problem, but also contains other minor corrections and additions. The file was formally released for the subsequent version, Unicode 2.1.2 (May, 1998). The permanent, archival link for that file revision is: Unihan-2.txt

Unicode 1.1.5 (July, 1995)

This was the third update to the Unicode Standard. This update version is characterized by the first release of the online data file for the Unicode Character Database, corresponding to the names list printed in Unicode Technical Report #4. The data file is referred to by some products developed at the time. This version of the Unicode Standard was not formally approved as a separate version by the UTC at the time. The new Unicode Character Database files are in http://www.unicode.org/Public/1.1-Update/.

Note: The data file CJKXREF.TXT provides the source data for the large "Han Ideographic Cross-Reference Charts" of The Unicode Standard, Version 1.0, Volume 2, pp. 169-385. The version archived here for Unicode 1.1.5 is dated 14 March 1994, and includes some minor corrections from the data used for the actual publication of Unicode 1.0.1. It was superseded in subsequent versions of the standard by the data file Unihan.txt.

Unicode 1.1.0 (June, 1993)

This was the second update to the Unicode Standard. It constituted the addition of all further characters resulting from the merger with ISO/IEC 10646-1.

Unicode 1.0.1 (June, 1992)

This was the first update to the Unicode Standard. A few characters from 1.0.0 were moved or removed as a result of the merger with ISO/IEC 10646-1. (At the time, the policy of using minor versions for character changes was not in place.)
