The Japanese National Body (JNB) comments on JTC 1 N 5785, Proposed Modification to the JTC 1/SC 2 Programme of Work
1.JNB believes that the additional work for amendment or addendum to ISO/IEC
10646 should be started with the NP process rather than with the simple
modification of the Programme of Work.
2.JNB has some concern with the contents of the revision of ISO 2375 because
JNB has been taking the responsibility
of Registration Authority related to ISO 2375. If the revision is of such
nature as to give any major impacts on the current registration procedure,
Japan again believes that the work should be started with the NP process.
Therefore, JNB wants to have a clarification and decision by SC 2 and ITTF on
this matter.
