Appended is a transcription of my notes on the action items. Hope
you find these helpful (they come 'as is', Joan's version will be the
official one). 

For liaison statements to WG2, I would appreciate to get them first and pass
re-route them to Mike. That way I don't get surprised what's been submitted.

In the past, I had to edit some papers to avoid getting flamed on silly style
issues, so please get me softcopy. For plain-text submission just send an
e-mail, I can worry about the formattin.

If they must be formattted text, I would love to get an electronic copy
in Word 6.0 format (uuencode works fine, as do some mime attachments).
(Rick: Not needed for the 3 script submissions)

I will be leaving Seattle early April, so get me stuff by the end of the
month.

A68-2: Joe and Ken
        produce a modified document on African encoding
        (-> liaison statement from Unicode)

A68-3: Asmus re: Mongolian
        Instructed to represnt Unicode's position at WG2 as
        -> Unicode has no new input, nor received anything from the other
            bodies to review
        -> Ask WG2 to postpone discussion
        -> Note that invitation of Unicode experts requires 3 month
        -> Invite Mongolian/Chinese experts to Unicode meeting June/Sept
            as this allows larger participitation of Unicode members

A68-4: Rick
        inform members of schedule and procedure for submitting materials
        (and reviewing materials) for inclusion on the CD-ROM


A68-6: Hart
        Produce the Character Glyph document in HTML format and
        submit along with the original MS-Word document for inclusion on
CD_ROM
        (and posting to Web-site)

A68-8: Lisa and Asmus
        Work with IAB organizers to get repeat or follow-up meeting at
        UTC June and or Sept conference BOF session

A68-9 Michel
        WG2 document for Pinjin

A68-10: Rick on Byzantine
        Create a liaison document for WG2 including
        o request for more technical info
        o statement of UTC opinion where it could be coded
          (outside BMP), give classification
        o suggest a proof of concept implementation be demonstrated
        o suggest an addition to classification scheme for notatinal systems

A68-11: Asmus
        bring up scheduling priority at WG2
        HIGHEST   publish a revised version
        HIGH         finish big six and bug fixes on existing
        MEDIUM    other issues
        LOW         additional non-BMP scripts
        suggest bunching low priority items at certain meetings

A68-12: Rick
        To submit formally the missing 3 from the big six scripts
        - Sinhalese
        - Burmese
        - Khmer

A68-13: Hart on Braille
        Create a liaison statement
        a) UTC favors "exploring possible encoding"
        b) note open issues and information needed
        c) pass on information collected by Ed from his paper
        d) ask for interested party status of Unicode

A68-14: Lisa on Cherokee
        Create a liaison statement to
        a) accept Cherokee repertoire
        b) minus arch. character
        c) note disagreement on order, but state that Unicode
           is looking for more info.
        d) note that only modern user community and implementation
            in US
        
A68-16: Joe
        Remove APL Quad alias from 25AF for Version 2.0 nameslist

A68-17: Asmus
        Answer document 985 with requestion unification of
        epsilon with 220A
        the (corner) symbol with 2510 or 2309
        possibly accept the remaining 8 into the WG2 standing document on
        future symbol encoding.

A68-18: Asmus
        provide WG2 with sample pages

A68-19:Ken
        change the wording of swap -> mirrror
        (note that in future, addtl chars may be considered mirrored)

A68-20: Asmus
        Communicate to Sc2 via WG2 a strong desire to synchronize WG3 and
        WG2 standards, especially ensure 8859 series remains a subset
        (mappable) to 10646.

        Note to X3L2 that Unicode's comments on the 8859 ballot could be
        satisfied with an informative annex in 8859
