1. Meetings

Since the last SC2 plenary session, which was held in Redmond, WA, U.S.A. in March 1998, WG2 met once in London, U.K. in September 1998 and is planning to meet again in Fukuoka, Japan in and March 1999 respectively. Earlier meetings are included for reference.

5. Other Achievements
1. Continued to enhance the set of principles and a process to prioritize the various repertoire additions to WG2. The new process has been extremely helpful in managing and prioritizing repertoire additions to 10646. Document N2002 is being updated to reflect the latest feedback on the Principles and Procedures.
2. The Rapporteur of the IRG is Mr. Zhang Zhoucai of China. His term runs until the next SC2 plenary session in March 1999.
3. Updated the World Wide Web site for WG2 and posted an increasing number of documents to the site. The URL is www.dkuug.dk/JTC1/SC2/WG2. Keld Simonsen of the Danish Unix Users Group (dkuug) in Copenhagen, Denmark continues to operate the site. A summary of the documents submitted to WG2 and the action taken is now available on the web as document N1952, which is an update of document N 1509.
