[116-C13] Consensus: Regarding the deprecated property: [L2/08-275, L2/08-278, L2/08-287, L2/08-304, L2/08-328]

  1. Describe the deprecated property as including characters with significant architectural problems, or that cause implementation problems.
  2. Change the deprecated property by removing 0340, 0341, 17D3, and adding 0149, 0F77, 0F79, 17A4, 2329, 232A.
  3. Correlate the use of strongly discouraged in the names list and text with the deprecated property, with the exact disposition left to the Editorial Committee.

[116-C18] Consensus: Accept U+ABE2 MEETEI MAYEK I LONSUM for encoding.

[116-C19] Consensus: Move the 55 Meetei Mayek characters so that the first character is at U+ABC0, and the others are in the same relative positions as in L2/08-232, with block Meetei Mayek also moved to ABC0..ABFF, and name changes as documented in L2/08-232R. 


[116-C20] Consensus: Move 14 Khamti Shan characters with two name changes and one property change, and accept 13 new characters, as documented the subcommittee report L2/08-317 section 4 and L2/08-276.


[116-C21] Consensus: Accept 108 Brahmi characters for encoding at U+11000..U+1106F, with block name Brahmi at U+11000..U+1107F, for encoding in a future version of the standard. [L2/08-277R]

[116-C22] Consensus: Accept 29 Mandaic characters for encoding at U+0840..U+085B, in a block name Mandaic at 0840..085F. Accept one punctuation character with the new name U+085E "MANDAIC PUNCTUATION". [L2/08-270R]


[116-C23] Consensus: Change the script property of U+0485 COMBINING CYRILLIC DASIA PNEUMATA and U+0486 COMBINING CYRILLIC PSILI PNEUMATA from "Cyrillic" to "Inherited". [L2/08-272]

[116-C24] Consensus: The UTC approves the ballot on PDAM 1 of 14651 with comments as given in L2/08-329. [L2/08-321]
