          As per Resolution No. 5 adopted in the meeting of Language/Meetei Mayek Expert Committee held on 17/11/2012 at 11 A.M. in the Office Chamber of Hon’ble Minister ( Education), Manipur with the Hon’ble Minister, Education in the Chair (a PDF File copy of the Proceedings of the meeting is attached herewith), you are requested kindly arrange to delete/remove all the unrecognized Meetei Mayek characters (Meetei Mayek Extensions, PDF File copy is attached herewith) that has been uploaded by the Unicode Consortium (Unicode Standard Version 6.2)  on their website besides the Meetei Mayek characters (PDF File copy is attached herewith) recognized by the Govt. of Manipur to avoid any controversy with regard to  contemporary writing system of Manipuri Language.
