Proposal Summary Form

Proposals to add scripts or characters must include complete information to be considered for encoding in Unicode.

For emoji characters, use the guidelines in Submitting Emoji Character Proposals.

For all other characters and scripts, use the guidelines in Submitting Character Proposals and complete the Proposal Summary Form, using one of the formats listed below. Download the DOC or HTML format to edit in a word processor, or the PDF format to fill out by hand and scan.
