Conrad Nied
Conrad is a hybrid of an anthropologist and software engineer. He’s currently supporting the Digitally Disadvantaged Language working group for CLDR at Unicode. Previously, he worked at Meta for 7 years on user safety and localization, instrumenting the launch of over 40 languages in the UI and also standardizing locale data and identification. He received a masters of science in Computer Science at the University of Washington studying emergent social phenomena on internet technologies in 2017.
