Shane Carr

Shane Carr is a Staff Software Engineer on Google’s i18n Engineering team. He is chair of the ICU4X Technical Committee in Unicode and of TC39-TG2 for JavaScript i18n standards in ECMAScript.

Shane has previously presented at Unicode events on topics including ECMAScript, locale data management, number formatting, and Myanmar font encodings. He holds an MS and BS in Computer Science and BS in Chemical Engineering summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis.
