Dear Kim,

The Unicode Standard V3.0 will be available in January-February 2000.
Meanwhile, I am posting your email to the Unicode List for someone to
respond to your query.

Subject: Use of Corel Office 2000 with Unicode 3.0

This is Kim Sanders (linglobo@home.com) Phone:

I am interested in the full Unicode, Version 3.0, which lists graphemes
from around the world. It seems logical that I could interface the
Unicode symbols with Corel Office 2000 for full Desktop Publishing.

- Is it possible for me to produce custom characters such as ligatures
used in Greek, Latin, etc. for personal correspondence?

- Is there someone also in/around Calgary who is using such software so
that I can see the potential before I outlay cash on any product?

Thank you for your response.
