Well, it would let those attempting to understand the document to share
their ideas more readily throughout the world. Rather than say on the
internet "I think character 16 is a plural marker" they could say "I think
[phaistos glyph] is a plural marker". This is utterly hypothetical and
not an areas where I pretend to expertise or even an educated opinion.
