As celebrity may turn out as being short-lived, on occasions,
two other possible realms came to my mind:
- Birds
- Plants
If enough readers of the Unicode list deem either of these suggestions
a worthwile demo, I'd be willing to collect the examples and put them
in the web. Submissions should comprise:
- category {bird|plant},
- language (in English),
- popular/recognized name in national spelling,
- scientific name (in Latin),
- reference (URL of description, preferably comprising a picture).
Example:
Plant
German
Mädesüß
Filipendula ulmaria L.

Example:
Bird
German
Höckerschwan
Cygnus olor
