Absolutely. I realize its not my personal responsibility to make the
browsers display surrogates, it is their job. But when they don't behave
properly, I think it is good management to apply some coaching (edited
the registry), incentives (rebooted several times), and if needed, some
discipline (I thru the monitor against the wall, but only once.)

So sure, the browser should figure it out, but if someone had a few good
coaching tips...
;-)

OK, so I take it that is your way of saying surrogates aren't supported
yet...
