And the fact that after reading those books a whole generation of English-speakers will go round Spain (or even the Californian school system) asking people ?cuantos anos tiene? and NOT get the answer they deserve shows, depending on your viewpoint, the patient forbearance of a noble race or the proper humility of a conquered people...
