In this case, it might not be a good idea if, as I suspect, the acronym
"ROM" was felt as insulting for every Rumanian not being addict to Caribbean
alcoholics.

Perhaps these changes would not be necessary if standardization bodies would
take a moment to think and consult a dictionary before choosing a label.

Oh, well, OK, an identifier is just an identifier. So, why not choosing
"tequila" or "cannabis" for English. :-)
