Cardbox is a database utility whose users may not universally be using
recent Windows or Mac platforms. So, wouldn't this new facility be
helpful to such Cardbox users? For users having more recent platforms,
this facility provides a consistent, platform-independent method of
Unicode entry. IOW, a Cardbox user normally using a PC would not have
to take the time to become familiar with Mac conventions if working
temporarily at a Mac station.
