got some Kerala URLs on Malayalam zero, numerics - 10, 100 & 1000 and
some fractions. They are at:
http://www.cdactvm.in/MalSymbols/malsymbols.html
http://www.clickeralam.org/studyReport.html
As is clearly shown, the current glyph for digit zero (U+0D66)
is actually 1/4, and it does not represent zero.
My documents seeking this change are numbered L2/05-087 and L2/05-104.
Malaylam numerics for 10 at U+0D70, 100 at U+0D71 and 1000 at U+0D72
will parallel with Tamil numerics. Both Tamil and
Malayalam employed an unique arithmetic without digit zero,
and Tamil examples at UTN #21.

PS: The wrong glyph u+0d66 is used in a Kerala gazette!!

The UTC decision to correct the zero glyph will help. Otherwise,
Malayalam "1/4" will become more entrenched as "zero" in bureaucracies.
