    These are Vedas and post-Vedic Sanskrit texts written
    in Tamil script.

    1) There are no Telugu vowel signs here. An anusvara
    sign (Vedic accent) is used.

    2) In most books, we find superscripts or subscripts
    immediately following consonants.
