Yeah, it was just a FYI :-). (And the "big boy" emoticon seems
amiss :-).)
BTW, the only "official" (whatever that means) Internet emoticon
defined, I think was the ":-)", and I thought it originally meant
"please don't be offended by this" or something, and not as a
substitute for the markup <joke>...</joke>. :-)
Knuth in his "TeX Book" pointed out that one can also use
mathematical style:
Joke 3.4.7. ...
And a truly dedicated mathematician will add:
Proof. ... ∎
