    Initial, medial and final forms are a font technology issue, not a
    unicode issue.
    What you have described only means that either the font you have
    installed is not adequate for Mongolian, because it does not support
    these features, or the rendering engine (uniscribe in Windows XP),
    because it does not interpret those features for Mongolian.

    About your second comment I'm clueless (I'm somewhat familar with the
    Mongolian script, but not an expert at all!). Please also have a look
    at the "Standardized Variants" section of the standard
    (http://unicode.org/Public/UNIDATA/StandardizedVariants.html), maybe
    you'll find there what you are looking for.

    PS: You have a nice name. -dorj means "pearl", right?
