Wasn't the point here that the firing of these artifacts was due to
burning the libraries, rather than as part of their production process?
If so, you might expect less-than-perfect results from a fire.
Absent a knock-out proof such as thermoluminescence data, all such
different characteristics will continue to be cited and excite...
