I suggest modifications to the code points of two currently accepted emojis. 1) Fingerprint As per the original proposal back in 2020, I suggest: index pointing up (U+261D) + (magnifying glass tilted left (U+1F50D) OR microscope (U+1F52C)) = FINGERPRINT The proposal to change the codepoints for the fingerprint emoji from the current sequence to the combination of an index finger pointing up (👆) with either a magnifying glass tilted left (🔍) or a microscope (🔬) offers distinct advantages over using the fingerprint emoji alone. Significance: Symbolic Representation: The proposed sequence introduces a symbolic representation that goes beyond a standalone fingerprint icon. The pointing up index finger symbolizes attention, significance, or identification, while the magnifying glass or microscope conveys the detailed scrutiny involved in examining a fingerprint. Together, they create a richer and more nuanced representation of the fingerprinting process. Enhanced Communication: By combining elements, the proposed sequence actively communicates the idea of examining a fingerprint for identification or analysis. This added context makes the emoji more informative and versatile, allowing users to convey a range of meanings related to fingerprint scrutiny and identification. Visual Distinction: The combination of a pointing up index finger with a magnifying glass or microscope adds visual distinction, making the emoji more recognizable and memorable. This approach ensures that the emoji stands out and is easily distinguishable, even in a diverse set of emojis. Contextual Relevance: The proposed sequence aligns with the contextual relevance of fingerprinting processes, where scrutiny and identification are integral. It captures the essence of the action involved in fingerprint examination, making it a more contextually relevant and accurate representation. Original Proposal: The original proposal for the fingerprint emoji suggested the sequence of an index finger pointing up (U+261D) combined with a magnifying glass tilted left (U+1F50D) or a microscope (U+1F52C). This combination aimed to symbolise the action of scrutinising or inspecting a fingerprint, providing a logical and visually coherent representation. 2) Leafless tree Suggested code points: deciduous trees(🌳(U+1F333)) + fallen leaf(🍂(U+1F342)) = LEAFLESS TREE The proposed combination of the tree emoji (🌳) and the fallen leaves emoji (🍂) serves as the optimal representation for a leafless tree, particularly one of deciduous nature. Deciduous trees, by definition, undergo a seasonal process where their leaves fall off, and the 🌳🍂 sequence aptly captures this characteristic. The combination of a tree and fallen leaves visually communicates the deciduous nature of the tree without the need for additional context. It offers a clear and unmistakable symbol for a tree in its leafless state. Thank you.

I suggest modifications to the code points of one currently accepted emoji. Splatter Suggestion is to make example and recommanded depiction image RED or PINK as the emoji is also to represent Holi this is the most prevelant and historically used color of gulal powder and water guns. Significance: Red Gulal: Red symbolizes love, fertility, and the color of passion. It's often used to represent joy, prosperity, and the arrival of spring. Pink Gulal: Pink represents happiness, playfulness, and the color of friendship. It signifies the blooming of flowers and the rejuvenation of nature during spring. While red and pink are popular, other colors such as yellow, green, blue, and recently purple are also commonly used during Holi festivities. However Red and pink are the most popular choices. When using red the powder also signifies married women in Hindu culture There are 1.2 billion Hindus worldwide (15% of world's population), with about 95% of them being concentrated in India alone.
