2. Meeting logistics:

  • Note: This meeting is not on the main Apple campus, it is in a separate building about 3 miles north of the main campus.
  • The meetings will be held on the ground floor of Apple’s Mathilda 1 (MT01) building at 250 S. Mathilda Ave. (east side), Sunnyvale, CA 94086, in front of the Sunnyvale Town Center shopping center. The meetings will be held in the Big Basin conference room.
  • If driving, use the free parking garage just east of the Apple building (no permit required). Parking is restricted to four hours on the first two floors of the parking structure. For all-day parking, please proceed up the ramp at the back of the parking structure on the right (i.e. in the southeast corner) and park on the 3rd or 4th levels (the ramp is a bit hard to find). The underground parking is for employees only.
  • For those taking public transit, the Mathilda 1 building is 3 blocks from the Sunnyvale Caltrain station, which is also a stop for several VTA bus lines: 32, 53, 54, 55, 304.
  • The building entrance is on the north side, facing another similar building (Nokia). Check in with the receptionist to get your visitor’s badge. You can then proceed straight ahead to the south end of the building; the conference room is outside the secure area and directly across the hall from the building cafeteria and and the espresso bar.
  • There will be wireless internet access, which should support VPN.
  • The building main door is open 8:00-5:00.
  • Outside the meeting room there is an espresso bar open 8:00-4:00; across the hall is a cafeteria open 11:00-2:00. They accept credit cards, but not cash. Cafeteria lunch tickets will be provided.

5. Driving Directions:

From Highway 280:

  • Take the De Anza Blvd/ Cupertino exit (#11) and turn north onto De Anza Blvd (left turn if coming from San Francisco, right turn if coming from San Jose).
  • De Anza Blvd. soon becomes Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road. Proceed on Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road past West Remington and take the left fork in the road, which becomes South Mathilda Ave.
  • Cross El Camino Real. Mathilda 1 is on the right at the corner of South Mathilda and West McKinley Avenue (the third intersection after crossing El Camino Real).
  • Turn right on McKinley (shopping center entrance) and then take first left behind the building to enter the parking garage on the right.

From Highway 101

  • Take the Sunnyvale - Mathilda Ave exit (#396).
  • Cross over the train tracks and Central Expressway.
  • Turn left on West Washington Avenue (Nokia building on the corner) and then right at the first street behind Nokia. Proceed to parking garage entrance on left.
