Richard Moore - United Nations University International Institue for Software TechnologyRichard Moore has an M.A. in mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Manchester. He was a member of the research staff in the Computer Science Department at the University of Manchester from 1985 until 1994, where he was involved primarily in research in formal methods and the design and development of software tools supporting formal methods. Then in 1995 took up the position of Research Fellow on the staff of the United Nations University International Institue for Software Technology (UNU/IIST) in Macau. Since that time he has been involved software design projects for a wide range of applications, including systems for airline business, telephony, university management, water resources management, and multi-lingual document processing. |
