Biography

Bedo Agopian - Agosoft, Inc.

Bedo Agopian is a software consultant working with Agosoft, Inc. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1983 he has worked with Digital Equipment Corporation to create process control and industrial automation software. Being used in large industrial facilities, new technologies had to be created for interchanging large volumes of heterogeneous data across large scale networks. Success brought non-US markets and internationalization. Later, the abundant consulting opportunities in the Bay Area expanded Bedo's field to include: Health Care, Financial, Help Desk industries in addition to Armenian Information Interchange, Office Automation and Process Control. The fundamental concerns of large scale data entry, data storage, and large-scale networked data interchange remained areas which Bedo has worked with across industries. Working with AESA (Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America) Bedo is an active participant in the definition of the standardization of Armenian Information Processing. Some of Bedo's past accomplishments are summarized at Agosoft's web site http://www.agosoft.com. Current Unicode activity is summarized at http://www.agosoft.com/HyeKir.
