Eric Mader - IBM's Globalization Center of CompetencyEric Mader is a Software Engineer and complex text expert. He works in the Complex Text group in IBM's Globalization Center of Competency in Cupertino California. He is currently working on several projects aimed at enabling complex text support on a variety of platforms. Before that, he worked at Netscape Communications on browser internationalization. Before that, he worked at Apple Computer, Inc. where he was one of the principle designers and implementers of QuickDraw GX LineLayout. |

International Unicode Conferences are organized by Global Meeting Services, Inc., (GMS).
GMS is pleased to be able to offer the International Unicode Conferences under an exclusive
license granted by the Unicode Consortium. All responsibility for conference finances and
operations is borne by GMS. The independent conference board serves solely at the pleasure
of GMS and is composed of volunteers active in Unicode and in international software
