Thomas Emerson - Basis Technology CorporationMr. Emerson is a Senior Software Developer and Computational Linguist, and is the lead developer of our Morphological Analysis product line and Chinese Script Converter. He has extensive experience in natural language processing, internationalization, and Web technologies. He is a co-founder of the Association for Computational Linguistics Chinese Special Interest Group (SIGHAN). His previous experience includes lead engineering roles at Spyglass, Apple Computer R&D, and Symantec. He studied cognitive linguistics at Clarkson University and computer science at the University of Vermont. |

International Unicode Conferences are organized by Global Meeting Services, Inc., (GMS).
