James Do - IT ConsultantThe author has participated in the Unicode standardization process for over a decade, mainly in issues dealing with the scripts of Viet Nam. A mathematician by training, he is a software engineer and manager in practice, with expertise in the fields of electronic design automation and web technologies. He is a co-founder of the Vietnamese Nôm Preservation Foundation and of the Pacific Links Foundation, the latter of which with an on-going and regular information technology training program in Viet Nam. |

International Unicode Conferences are organized by Global Meeting Services, Inc., (GMS).
GMS is pleased to be able to offer the International Unicode Conferences under an exclusive
license granted by the Unicode Consortium. All responsibility for conference finances and
operations is borne by GMS. The independent conference board serves solely at the pleasure
of GMS and is composed of volunteers active in Unicode and in international software
