FYI:
No character is added, deleted, nor changed in JIS X0208-1997.
However a lot of rationale, clarification, reference etc
has been added.
Their efforts are amazing.

The last revision of JIS-X-208 is 1997 (of which I have a copy; its
available in
Japanese only to date). Do you anticipate any changes to IBM CP 934
or a new CP based on the 1997 revision? Or know of any to Microsoft CPs?
