Independent Font Technology Forum : Programme (short form)

From: John Hudson (tiro@tiro.com)
Date: Thu Sep 14 2000 - 03:17:09 EDT

As previously announced on this list, the Independent Font Technology Forum
will take place in Leipzig on Thursday 21 September 2000, in conjunction
with the annual conference of the Association Typographique International
(ATypI). The forum will focus on OpenType font technology, with an emphasis
on tool development and support options. Registration information for the
conference and forum is available from the ATypI website at
http://www.atypi.org.

The forum will take place in the large conference room on the top floor of
the Konsum Leipzig Zentrale, Industriestrasse 85-95, starting promptly at
10:00 AM. Participants will need to sign in and receive conference name
badges at the main ATypI site, the Werkstatten und Museum fur Druckkunst
(Printing Museum), Nonnenstrasse 38, beginning at 9:00 AM. Please note that
the Konsum building is approximately one kilometre from the Printing
Museum, so please allow time to travel between the two buildings. Shuttle
buses will be available, but we are not sure how frequently they will run.
To be on the safe side, you are encouraged to sign in early and then
proceed directly to the Konsum building.

If you have not preregistered for the ATypI conference and forum, of if you
have registered for the conference only and would like to attend the forum,
you will be able to register on the day, at the Printing Museum. However,
please visit the ATypI website and preregister, as this will help speed up
sign in for everyone on 21 September.
