1. Windows is a bakayarou. There is no word in English to describe it that I know of.

There is a program called MView that I use. I forget where to get it, but I have it on the computers I tend to use. With it you can probably view Chinese. I know it works with Japanese and it has some Chinese modes.

Let us know if that works.
