I'm *most* definitely not an expert on this -- but few weeks back I was preparing a
few slides about Unicode using Office.X and basically I was only reworking slightly
the Powerpoint slides I had earlier prepared in Win2000. Those slides had for showing-off
purposes few snippets in various scripts. After some twiddling with fonts I got every
other script _except_ Hebrew and Arabic to work. I spent some considerable
time wading in the Help of Office.X, and Microsoft Mac site, and web searching,
but finally came to the conclusion that no can do, RTL scripts simple aren't supported
in the current version of Office.X. Of course, if there's some help in Hebrew I
would have missed it.
But see the latest blurb about Jaguar at: <http://www.apple.com/macosx/> http://www.apple.com/macosx/
Scroll down to about 70% to "International Affair: Mac OS X v10.2 comes with full Unicode support and thousands of dollars worth of high-quality fonts - including Japanese and Chinese - and supports non-Roman alphabets (like Arabic, Thai and Hebrew) via improved input and a new Unicode Character Palette."
