Yes, indeed, now that I check carefully. Ouch!
I was thinking of U+16DF which is often rendered as conjoined _oe_ for
Old English runes (for example at
http://titus.fkidg1.uni-frankfurt.de/didact/idg/germ/runealph.htm).
