    Thanks to everyone for the helpful comments. Even the OT discussion was
    helpful.

    Having now moved to OE from O, I find that yes, it much less taxing on
    system resources, and generally does all that O did (it is light in some
    respect, e.g. the capability to choose formatting--ident, prefix by
    initials, that sort of thing--on replies).

    One problem, though: *all* attachments seem to be labelled 'too dangerous to
    access' and are greyed out. If I do a forward, however, they all become
    accessible. This seems a little senseless.... There doesn't seem to be any
    documentation in Help on this subject. So far, I've seen it happen to .sit
    files and PDF files. How to fix this?
