Yes, there's a rule about never ever changing the name of a
code point, isn't it ? Otherwise "szlig" could be better,
not all "sharp s" are represented by "szlig" in German, let
alone elsewhere not limited to de-CH.
"German double s" is another name for this "eszet" beast,
