In terms of the Unicode Line Breaking Algorithm, you could supply a
SPACE in front of the ":" or ";" without ill effect, since the algorithm
takes care of not allowing a line to start with a ":" or ":".
The need for NBSP follows from linebreaking implementations that do not
treat punctuation that way.
