Were such a scheme to be supported, you could easily add a table that
simply contained the ASCII (i.e. ISO 646-1) XML definition of the
overrides to the system's assumed character properties. I'm pretty
sure a binary dump of the XML could be manually stitched into a font
file using TTX.
