It was just a joke. No offence intended.

Have you not seen the recent postings on this list asserting that the
Bengali script encoded in Unicode should not be called Bengali but one
of those other names? I'm surprised you didn't take issue with that
but ask about Anshuman's tongue-in-cheek comment.
