Text vs Emoji, v15.0
Index & Help | Images & Rights | Spec | Proposing Additions
This chart lists the emoji code points by date, showing for each character whether it has an emoji presentation (EP) by default and whether or it has an emoji presentation sequence (EPSq). There are no characters with an EP without an EPS (no “-EP -EPSq“).
The notation “year ∩ Dings” indicates the Dingbats, Webdings, and Wingdings characters in year, since the Dings were a principle source of emoji with text presentation (-EP). The label “year ⊖ Dings” indicates other characters in year.
While these charts use a particular version of the Unicode Emoji data files, the images and format may be updated at any time. For any production usage, consult those data files.
