TeX and SGML make a great document production team. At least one
commercial SGML product uses TeX as its formatting engine. I
used to use it for a project I've been working on, but had to
switch to (grumble) troff for some logistical reasons. Jade, a
freely available DSSSL (a stylesheet mechanism) processor
supports TeX as one of its "backend" formatters.
