I certainly wish you were right, but mere documenting of existing
practice is not the goal of the current USERFOR WG. Use of Unicode is
certainly not existing practice, in particular not in the proposed
way.

This is relavant to the OpenPGP problem; OpenPGP is not restricted to
MIME data only, so other line endings might occur.
