It's "valid" all right but when one looks into Grantha, it fails,
because in Grantha it's the second consonant that takes a conjoining
form. (I've given samples in my Grantha proposal.)

So LA + VIRAMA + ZWJ + CHANDRABINDU + LA wouldn't work for Grantha and
is hence not to be recommended for pan-Indic, except perhaps as a hack
for Devanagari for fonts/engines that don't support proper rendering.
