Microsoft's Win32 operating system was one of the world's first to
incorporate Unicode as one of its supported character sets.
Integrated completely into Windows NT and Windows CE, and
half-heartedly into Windows 95 and 98, Unicode has had a profound
influence on these operating systems and on programs designed to run
there. In this workshop, we will examine how Unicode has affected
these systems by looking at the Win32 character set and programming
models from a technical point of view to help you discover how you
can use Unicode to best advantage in your program design and
implementation.
