Diff between UCS-2 and UTF-16

hi guys,

can someone pls tell me what is the difference between UCS-2 and UTF-16...
both seem to be 16-bit or double byte representation of Unicode code points....

so whats the differencve... in their coding schemes?? or what else???

pls this is urgent................
